Navigating Manufacturing Transformation
Transform your business using the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) as a Industry 4.0 Framework
Transform your business using the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) as a Industry 4.0 Framework
Established by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) in partnership with a network of leading technology companies, consultancy firms, and industry and academic experts, the Smart Industry Readiness Index comprises a suite of frameworks and tools to help manufacturers – regardless of size and industry – start, scale, and sustain their manufacturing transformation journeys.
SIRI covers the three core elements of Industry 4.0 through its Business Framework: Process, Technology, and Organisation.
Smart Industry Readiness Index Framework
Validated by a global advisory panel of industry experts, the Assessment Matrix is designed to strike a balance among technical rigour, usability, and relevance. The tool breaks down each of the 16 Dimensions into 6 progressive bands of maturity. These dimensions represent assessment areas that companies can use to evaluate their current digital maturity, readiness of facilities, benchmark themselves against known scores of other companies and identify potential gaps in their transformation.

A Holistic Prioritisation Framework
The Prioritisation Matrix is a management planning tool that helps companies quantitatively identify high-priority Dimensions that would deliver greatest impact to their organisation, after they have used the Assessment Matrix to determine the Industry 4.0 maturity of their manufacturing facilities.
Infographic below shows prioritization principles where companies can focus on where to invest, improve and fix, as well as to understand the impact value of each dimension.
The 4 Principles of Prioritisation
Begin your transformation journey with the SIRI Assessment
The Official SIRI Assessment includes the evaluation of a manufacturing facility across the 16 dimensions of assessment, the identification of recommended areas of priority, and the provision of a report of the findings.
Today, over 350 companies from more than 15 different countries have completed the assessments.
Perform an Official SIRI Assessment with the help of our Certified SIRI Assessor (CSA), Wong Keat Tze. The Singapore Economic Development Board formally recognised CSAs as independent and neutral individuals capable of professionally assessing a manufacturing facility using SIRI and its corresponding frameworks and tools.
